RFQ Checklist

hard plastic crusher

Resolve feed geometry, screen and knife layout, and metal-control method for a hard plastic crusher before selecting a supplier. This page is a procurement decision dossier, not an ESG statement and not a factory certificate. Published rotor and screen tables remain manufacturer references; they do not approve your thickest wall.

Input checklist

  1. Input checklist: Equipment scope

Write the hard plastic crusher family you are buying: rotor diameter and width in millimetres, working opening, knife rows, and screen aperture for the target granulate. Attach the largest part size and wall thickness, including filled or glass-loaded resins. If the largest piece does not enter the hopper without bridging, stop; a later SAT cannot invent clearance. Work envelope around the hopper, footprint, three-phase supply and connected load kW belong on the same record. Extraction and cooling water are listed only if they are in scope.

  2. Price exclusions

Separate machine, delivery and site bands. Freight, installation, training, spare knives, FAT witness and SAT often sit outside the chamber price. Wear plates, extra screens, magnets and metal detectors should be named. Comparing two hard plastic crusher offers without those lines hides installed project cost. No percentage saving is published on this site. Changeover labour for colour or resin switches is a quoted item if the plant needs it in the first year.

  3. Response basis

A factory response is usable when it restates rotor millimetres, screen aperture, knife arrangement, metal-contamination method, knife-change access, and included versus extra items. Nominal speed without a named thick-section sample is not validated throughput. PLC interface names are required only if load or jam data must leave the machine. Ask how residual material is removed between resins so the first good granulate after a changeover can be inspected.

Remaining input: quantity, destination, delivery window, optional budget with currency and per-unit or whole-order basis, supplier preference, and who attends FAT. Keep feed geometry and wear-part quoting with the approval pack. Open the catalog or send the dossier as an inquiry.
